Not sure if anyone remembers my post 2 years ago

Two years ago I posted about my daughter going into cardiac arrest and suffering brain damage. She was declared brain dead and passed away. We donated her organs and have met two of the four recipient families. But today my wife and I welcomed our baby boy into the world. 2 years of trying for a child, 2 miscarriages, 2 failed IUI’s, and doing IVF and having one viable embryo. I’m so proud of myself for continuing to fight but I’m in absolute awe of my wife. All she had to endure for this to come to fruition, all the twists and turns and heartache she dealt with is astounding. She is the bravest person I know, and now we have a baby!!! It’s so surreal but I haven’t stopped smiling and crying today. Thanks for reading my rambling rant, I can finally join this sub again!

Slime can seriously can Fuck off,respectfully✨

I’ve been spending the past 3 hours of my only down time trying to get slime out of my rug and before y’all say “ why did you buy your kids slime” I didn’t everyone knows how I feel about it. But my daughter’s damn teacher had the whole class make some slime and she brought it home. And My dumbass thought “ maybe she is old enough to know how to take care of it” nope!! Because as kids do she got distracted and left it on the coffee table. Ofcourse the slime slowly fell off to the coffee table to my nice rug. So yes Fuck off slime

It’s annoying when my MIL says my 3 month old son is flirting with her

She’ll play talk with him and she’ll be like “oh I think he’s trying to flirt with me. I’m going to go tell my husband”. I find it very annoying and I read somewhere that you’re not supposed to talk to babies/little kids like that. Anyone else experience this or suggestions

After almost 3 years my blood work came back favorable and I can finally be a surrogate!

So a little backstory. Almost 3 years ago I got matched with an amazing couple to be their surrogate. We developed an amazing relationship and unbreakable bond. Everything was set to go except one thing, my blood work. There was one thing that was a little too elevated and until that was within normal range I could not continue with the surrogacy. We kept retesting and retesting for almost 2 years and finally gave up. Or so I thought. Last month they reached out to me and wanted to try again. Today I got the news that I am perfectly healthy and we can finally move forward! And all this time we have remained in contact, became even closer friends and now I feel like it’s even more special than it was to start with! I don’t know if this is the right place to share, but I had to tell someone!

20yr Old Daughter moving back in with 5mth old and boyfriend

Teen daughter ran away at 17. Got pregnant at 20 and has nowhere to turn. She is moving back home here with her 5 month old baby and 20yr old boyfriend. She is trying to get on track, and we see that, but she has a long way to climb back. Her boyfriend is lazy and does nothing. We explained that she has to get her last 4 credits for highschool and he has to get a job. She is doing it at a crawl... but he is sitting on the couch. I've also got two younger kids at home. 13 and 14. This is not ideal and is a strain. They also have a dog. I'm having a hard time with this, and my wife and I are starting to get edgy with each other. I'm wondering if there is any advice.
