So, any other father's dislike father's day?

I can't stand this day. All I actually want is a day of NOT being a father. This is basically a regular Sunday except everything has to be super cheery, and I have extra obligations. This year my brother is throwing a barbeque. So now I have to truck an hour to his town and pretend like this day isn't just a burden. Every year is like this. I can't stand it. I don't want this kind of attention in the first place. I don't need a special day, I need a day where I can make my own choices about how I spend my time instead of everyone else's needs. That would be a treat. Note: My wife feels the same about mothers day. This is just annoying.

Parenting hack for heels of the bread load

I found this parenting hack when I was at peek frustration with my picky-eater 8 year old. We only had the heels of the bread left and he insisted he wanted a PB&J. Knowing heā€™d refuse a sandwich with the heels (because itā€™a nothing but crust, which we all know can be highly problematic) and having little other option, **I simply put the peanut butter and jelly directly on the heel part. Heel-to-heel, the sandwich looked like a normal sandwich.** My kid ate it all and never once suspected he was eating the heels of the loaf! I stood by watching with a smirk, proud that I had fooled him. I love a good win against the picky eater syndrome that has me up against the ropes almost every meal!

How to teach a early teen son showing bad behaviour about consent

Hello I am a parent desperately seeking some advice on how to teach my son about consent and respecting women. My son is 13 years old and I have discovered a year ago that he watches non consensual porn. I reprimanded him but just last week I saw him watching non-consensual porn on screenshare with his friend who he was teaching slangs about sex and using derogatory words and abuses. I am particularly scared as I have two older daughters who both have a history of sexual abuse and I don't want my son to grow up and showing abusive behaviour. I have already tried being harsh and reprimanding as well as sitting with him to have a mature, calm discussion but nothing seems to be working. I already feel like I failed in my duty with my daughters. I am in desperate need for some well intentioned advice on how to teach my son. Will he grow out of this?

Whatā€™s something you havenā€™t been able to eat since your pregnancy?

Pre pregnancy, I loved cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches and I loved canned tuna fish. 2 children later, I canā€™t stomach the thought of either of those things šŸ¤¢
