Do I really need a sleep schedule for my baby or will just letting him sleep/wake whenever he needs work out eventually?
I’m incredibly confused by all of the information about sleep, about how many naps, how long a baby should sleep etc. it seems like another form of stress/guilt to being a mother/having a baby. I figured that I’d just let the baby sleep when he wants to and wake up when he wants to and not stress too much. He’s 3 months currently and wakes about 2-3 times a night. The only thing I do currently is make a big distinction between night and day to support his body clock/circadian rhythm. Has anyone else had success with just letting their baby sleep/wake according to need? Did their sleeping routine settle eventually?

All the trolls…
Has anyone else noticed the significant uptick in the trolls that have popped up since about Friday mid day? In places that should be relatively safe (on Reddit)? Real question (because I don’t know) are there notifications that alert these types of people about a certain type of post? Also, to the mods of this sub, y’all rock! Keep up the good work!

Why do people heat up formula
I’m just curious because we just give our baby room temperature. Are there benefits to bottle warming

I think my neighbour just died
And I don't know how to process it. Weve lived here two years, in attached townhouses, and we weren't super friendly but had chatted a few times. They were probably mid-50s, and smoked. About a month ago they sold their car, and I stopped seeing them come and go. I heard a LOT of coughing through the walls. A couple weeks ago they left in an ambulance, but then returned. But today the ambulance showed up again, nd they've been doing CPR in the backyard for about 10 minutes. It seems bad. I feel so weirdly overwhelmed and sad. I've never seen something like that before.

One school offers make-up classes based on individual needs. For example, students work with a teacher to figure out exactly which standards they’d failed, and come up with a plan to make up only those missing assignments. @kalynbelsha @Chalkbeat https://t.co/AGxGMndDlY

How do you guys teach grit?
My 8 yo tends to give up and get frustrated at the first hint of difficulty in school and physical activities. What can I do to help her become more resilient and determined? Whenever we try to help her overcome the obstacle she's facing, it sometimes works, but many times it results in an emotional tantrum. Our 7 yo shows hints of this, but not to the same degree, so I'm not really concerned. Our 5 yo usually is willing to figure things out with us. My spouse and I were very self motivated as kids, so having to teach or learn this is new to us.

New mom
Hey there, I am expecting my first child on October 3rd. I had joined October 22 bumpers group by recommendation of a friend. I just went to make my first post and it looks like I’ve been removed, or something. I just want to introduce myself to a community, since this is my first. I’m working full time at a desk job, and have taken a break from my career as a performer. I’m very excited to be a mom, and hope to be a part of some online communities as a resource for enjoyment and information. Thanks ❣️ (Love Harmony and bb Haesel)

Jaundice Baby Support
Hello New Parents, My Wife gave birth on Friday around 5:30 \[we initially checked in on Thursday at 5:30 for induction\]. Our little girl was born 5.5 lbs and at 37 + 2. We are emotional wrecks because she has been in phototherapy at the hospital the last 36-hours or so, and we have to wait for another test at 6:00am. She's been jittery every so often as well, so that's causing us some slight concern. She is doing well feeding and we are supplementing with a bit of formula to make sure she is getting enough nutrition to poop and pee. Has anyone gone through something similar? I feel like my anxiety is winning the battle so far :(
