Misunderstood how much tummy time my LO needed…
And did way more than the minimum. He is 7 weeks and he is very good at tummy time. Another mom was shocked at how long and high he could lift his head. Sorry buddy….you were right when you complained to management about too much tummy time. 🤦♀️ Luckily he loves it now!

Diaper Pails..
Do I need one? Can I just get a covered garbage can with scented bags and take it out when things get smelly? I live in an apartment btw but it’s no issue going downstairs to toss our garbage in the bigger bins. FTM. No dogs or anything.

I googled "how to be happy as a parent"
That's it. That's all, really. I'm in therapy. Some days are good, some days are bad, but every single day I feel like becoming a parent was a mistake.

3/4 of a gallon of milk
All over the kitchen. My daughter just tried to get the milk out of the fridge. Brand new unopened gallon. It fell, the stupid little indented circle thing on the side of the plastic gallon cleanly split open, and 3/4 of the milk flooded the kitchen. Fuck! That’s all.

Will my boobs leak if I don’t breastfeed for a day at 3 months pp?
I haven’t had any issues with leaking since the first month but I will be attending a wedding next weekend where I will be away from my baby for a whole day which I haven’t been yet. The problem is the dress I am wearing is open back so will have to wear sticky cups and therefore can’t use those pads to soak up any potential leaks. Is this just going to be disastrous lol?

My 8 year old daughter said she wants to stop eating candy to lose some weight
My husband and I were caught totally off guard when our daughter said this during family dinner tonight. She is a healthy strong girl who happens to be quite slim. We never talk about weight (ours, hers, anyone else’s), and we offer a variety of foods, emphasizing how healthy foods help her grow and get strong. We do have candy when we go hiking, and cookies and such for after school snacks. She picked a huge ice cream sundae with sprinkles and m&ms and a lollipop on top yesterday at a cafe on our way home from vacation as an end of vacation treat. So maybe that’s what prompted the comment today. I’m not sure what messages I should be giving her to counteract our stupid society that has clearly already indoctrinated her that girls need to be as skinny as possible. What should I say if this comes up again? Should I bring it up proactively if it doesn’t?

Clogged tear duct
My baby was born with a clogged tear duct in one eye. The pediatricians are saying that it's very common and usually self corrects. He's over 4 months now and still has the issue. His little eye gets all crusty and we have to use antibiotic ointment almost weekly. I'm curious to hear if anyone else has dealt with this issue and how it was treated!?
