What has your kid (or kids) broken, destroyed or wrecked?
My kid (15 months) was playing with his toys by placing them on the tv unit and then taking them off again and the second I got up to stop him (I could see exactly what was about to happen) he pulled the tv onto the floor. Of course he just carried on playing as if everything was totally fine. I burst into tears bc who has money for a new tv at the moment. I then instantly felt like a bad mum for being immediately filled with white hot rage instead motherly concern for my son. I’m now sat here scouring FB Marketplace for free tvs that don’t seem super dodgy 🫠 Hope everyone’s having a better day than me 😂 And thank goodness my baby’s not been hurt. If I don’t laugh I’ll cry so please join me in trauma bonding Edited for clarity/typos

Pretty sure my 1 year old swallowed a Swarovski crystal.
His dad gave him a bracelet to play with and I noticed one of the Swarovski gems are gone. I have no clue if it was missing before he started playing with the bracelet or not all I know is he chews on EVERYTHING. I don’t know what to do but I’m scared because Swarovski contains lead. Do I just look through his poop for the next four days or what? Edit: I took one of the crystals out of the bracelet to see how easy it was to pry them out and also to get an idea of how sharp and/or small it is. Here are images of the crystal he may have swallowed and the bracelet it came off of: https://imgur.com/a/VXVFCgK

Let baby play?
I have a 5 month old and sometimes when she wakes up from naps she just chills and kicks and is overall happy. Sometimes she’ll doze back off sometimes not. I always struggle with what to do. Do I get her? Do I leave her since she’s happy? I feel guilty leaving her like I’m neglecting her but then I don’t want to rain on her parade either. She woke up today from her nap and has been chilling for 45 min. She’s just kicking circles and talking to herself. This is the longest I’ve left her but I thought at first she was going to go back to sleep but isn’t. She’ll get still like she’s going to fall back asleep then starts kicking up a storm.
