It's really tough for students to be motivated during these times. But strengthening relationships and cutting down some of the curriculum clutter can help. @NimahGobir @E_Bonawitz https://t.co/TyBTyBxPBL

“If we just parent based on what we experienced 20 or 30 years ago, we are going to come across as very out of touch to our kids,” @jlwf says. “They’re not going to pay attention to what we’re saying, because they know it doesn’t apply in current world.” https://t.co/4OUJxg0hQV https://t.co/JOaymjO4hz

Being able to make decisions is an important skill at any age. Giving our toddlers chances to have real choices about what they do and what happens to them helps them to grow in self-esteem and confidence. -Irene Van der Zande, #kids

i don’t understand high chairs

WHY does something that’s sole purpose is for babies and toddlers, the messiest eaters known to man, to eat in, have SO MANY CRACKS AND CREVICES?! and WHY are the straps and buckles always made of woven fabric or whatever the hell it’s called?! i can’t throw those in the washer when they’re connected to the chair! cleaning is seems impossible and i absolutely dread the aftermath of every meal. i just don’t understand. someone needs to invent a high chair with ZERO cracks, crevices, or fabric. maybe like silicone straps or something? idk, all i know is this needs to change.

I refuse to go to the store on demand to cater to craving of the moment. Because what they are really saying is, “I’m craving something and we don’t have it.” #parenting https://t.co/p8T5VUxSiK
