Is wilderness therapy a good choice for boys who are self-harming, self-medicating with alcohol or drugs, or in trouble with the law? It can be, says 2 parents & a wilderness therapy alum https://t.co/QN51FBdtUQ https://t.co/TCaeUPJ7dZ

She's discovered hugs.

Yesterday and today our 13-month-old has discovered the joy of putting her arms around someone's neck and pulling them in close. She's been practicing all evening with her mum and me. This is the day after she started saying "Hey" in a soft voice to everyone. Please excuse me while I'm an emotional happy puddle in the corner.

Is anyone else worried about affording groceries with all the increases in prices?

I just spent $300 on groceries...granted I did buy a little more than I usually do cause it's almost Thanksgiving but omg...I used to spend maybe about 150 on groceries for a family of 5. So $300 for me is insane.

He laughed! Not his excited heavy breathing and smiling he does that I always considered his “pre-laugh laugh” but a real live human laugh.

He just finished eating so naturally he was in a particularly good mood, big eyes big smile. I blew raspberries in his neck and it happened. He laughed. Did it again he laughed again I was in shock and trying not to cry. I did it a 3rd time and he had that look in his face like ok I’m going to start crying now and he did. Maybe it was emotional for him as well lol. He’s now fast asleep and I should be too but man I can’t stop thinking about that laugh. My life’s goal now, is to hear that sound. Everything I do, for him and that gorgeous little laugh. When did your baby first laugh?
