New Zealand's Cook Strait captured on my first mission to @Space_Station. Despite its small size, the island country has diverse landscapes ranging from mountains and fjords to beaches and rainforest, all of which can be seen easily from above with orbital #astrophotography. https://t.co/JeUxVGOqkx

NGC 2174
NGC 2174 I’ll definitely want to get more time on this towards the end of the year once it’s above my horizon again to bring out more detail and color. Only got 28 minutes on this target. NGC 2174 is an H II emission nebula located 6,400 ly away in the Orion constellation. As the hydrogen collapses under its own weight, new stars are being born which ionize and illuminate the surrounding gas. Spending time w/ @USArmy learning to fly helicopters w/@NASA_Astronauts Stan Love. Turns out moon landing will need vertical landing displays & tools…fortunately instructors @USAACE Ft Rucker have been doing that for awhile & are helping @NASAArtemis as we design lunar lander https://t.co/J4cEETY32j

What happened to that NASA intern who found a planet?
Curious as to if he ever got the job at NASA for a big discovery while being an intern. I believe this happened a few years ago.
