[COMP] A little stretch I thought up to aid my stiff and easily cramped feet. Curious if this is/ is similar to any existing pose(s) so I may learn more. I am by no means well versed in yoga.
Good building of balance while on my knees, a nice burn in my thighs, and I'll see how it helps my feet as I practice more regularly. Happy to hear any input on possible variations or betterment of my form. Peace and cheers

Yoga position/excersise that focus on relieving tension in lower abdomen and stomach?
I'm really new to yoga and just tried following some online tutorials. It's hard but feels good. I wonder if there is some position or excersise that focus on the stomach. I've noticed that I have a lot of tension in that area due to anxiety, and now I'm looking for a way to soften that area. Any tips?

Yoga after Pilates?
I’ve been practicing yoga (almost) everyday and thinking of trying out Pilates before my yoga sessions a few times a week. I’ve done strength training, Zumba, HIIT etc. before but yoga is the only form of exercise that I truly enjoy these days and one that is giving me benefits beyond physical. However, I’d like to add more to my workout routines and think Pilates would be a good one. Does anyone here do pilates and then yoga?

Progress
So I only do yoga 1-2 times a week because I go to a class I like. I just can’t get motivation to do it at home. So obviously I’m not progressing like I’d like. I go notice that im getting more flexible but when it comes to balance and strength, It doesn’t seem to get better. Also certain poses I’m not improving in. With that being said. When y’all started being more consistent with yoga how often did you do it and how long until you really started to notice progress. I want to try to do it more often. I’m just more likely to do it by going to a class but can’t keep spending money to go.

Too much working, sitting, training, running or anything and everything in between? Give @sunburntandsalty’s FAVORITE “recovery yoga” sequence a try! This sequence uses the wall to give the legs, hips & low back some tender, loving care....which we could all use more of, right?! https://t.co/3IH2vtRdG2

I haven't felt the yoga high for 8 months now...
Doing yoga used to make me either happy-light-high-kind-of-nice, or sometimes it would trigger sad and abandoned feelings. But for a while now it has been just meh, feeling-wise. I am not saying it does nothing at all - it does improve my focus and grounds me a bit, but I do miss the "high". Do you think I may have lost my ability to relax properly when I spiralled into deppression past fall? Or maybe I should change something in particular in my practice? I attend weekly class, where we currently focus on pranayama, and we have done simple asanas together with diferent breathworkings... some have been hard for me, but also very interesting. And I also practice at home somewhat, where recently the main focus has been on my neck-shoulders, and lower back issues. Have you ever experienced this type of change where you have lost the ability to "high", and what helped to get it back?

Weightlifting while following yoga routine …
What body type/muscle tone does weightlifting, combined with a consistent Pilates/yoga routine produce??? Can you still bulk and gain muscle mass or will you basically only stay lean?
