I want to start with radio astronomy

Hi everyone, I would like to explore radio astronomy but I can't find anything on Google on how to build one from scratch. What do I need to build one, what software do I need in order to draw the signals into something that looks like some object I am shooting? Are there any mounts that I can use to fix radio telescope on my outside wall and auto track the object I want? I don't need to jump straight into something expensive, I can start with just observing the Sun. All I want is jump into radio observation to learn about it. Thanks

3 years ago I re-created the Thanos Snap! panels from the Infinity Gauntlet comics using images of 'Pillars of Creation' from the Eagle Nebula, taken by Hubble and resident Reddit astrophotographer u/ajamesmccarthy.

Please help Me, perhaps, Somebody ?

I know little about Astronomy. If You could, please devise for Me a method that will allow Me to easily find Stars that pass through the zenith of specific locations ; or inversely a method that will allow Me to easily find Earth coordinates that pass right beneath whichever Star coordinates ; or alternatively a method that will allow Me to easily find the Earth longitude that passes beneath whichever Star coordinates. My primary goal is to have a method to easily check which Star passes through the zenith of which place, or inversely which longitude passes beneath which Star. If Somebody could and would help Me in this enterprise, thank-You very much ! Thank-You very much for your time and attention, and thank-You in advance might You help Me or not. Kind regards, —Sebastian Mendez-Blanlot

Can someone explain like I’m 5 how it is that we can take such beautiful photos of the Galaxy in which our own planet exists?

It feels like we live in a house and are somehow able to take photos of the exterior. How?

Newton, Calculus, Astronomy...

Teaching myself the history of math. Newton invented Calc to study trajectories. Is there a paper that shows how Newton calculated trajectories of planets? Really not any specific examples on the Internet of how Newton applied his method. Would there be an paper archived by the Royal Society I can read, or a on [Archive.org](https://Archive.org) of an old textbook?
