✨ This August, spot two planets in the morning sky, gawk at the Perseids meteor shower, and get down with the Cygnus (constellation). There's a lot to see this month! We have more skywatching tips at solarsystem.nasa.gov/skywatching. Credit: NASA/JPL-Caltech #Stargazing #Space #Perseids #Cygnus #Meteors #Planets #Astronomy #Astrophotography #Telescope #NASA

On July 12, we on the Goddard social media team got to share NASAWebb's first full-color images with social and digital creators from around the country. Since our auditorium wasn't quite big enough for all of you to come along, we wanted to share a special #GoddardMiniTour episode with a few of our favorite #behindthescenes moments from the NASA Social!

Our favorite galactic shape is all of them! 🌀 Several glowing galaxies illuminate this Hubble image, highlighting the diversity in galactic shape and color. Read more at the link in our bio! Image Description: The image is black, and freckled with tiny, glowing specks of galaxies, some are blue and some are more orange. There are three large galaxies that dominate most of the image. One, in the upper right corner, is an opaque pearly white with a bright blue center. Another in the bottom left glows white, but is partially obscured by the third galaxy. The third galaxy is white with spots of bright blue and dark orange.

Happy birthday to a historic space simulation! 50 years ago, an Apollo-era analog investigated how humans would adapt to time in Skylab, the first U.S. space station. Now, @NASA helps analogs worldwide to prep for future missions to the Moon & beyond. https://t.co/7YeM5uGQRx
