⚫ Our galaxy’s central black hole has a leak! This supermassive black hole (which is over 4 million times more massive than our Sun, by the way!) looks like it still has the remains of a blowtorch-like jet dating back thousands of years. Read more: https://t.co/be7zKIjJ0a https://t.co/4lgHMf9BXU

25 years ago this week in @NASAhistory, Mars Pathfinder and the Sojourner rover launched to the Red Planet. The spacecraft would go on to land on Mars' surface to take photographs and collect weather data. https://t.co/yeFpognVZa https://t.co/M5pr4MnBmI

The Pioneer Venus Multiprobe entered the atmosphere of Venus #OTD in 1978. It was made of 5 separate probes: the probe transporter (aka the Bus), a large atmospheric entry probe (aka Sounder), and three small probes, which sent data to Earth as they descended toward the surface. https://t.co/TAgf8f1xfC

Other than being a test pilot, are there any jobs you could get at NASA as a pilot?
For some context I am a pilot and currently fly two corporate PC-12s. I’ve always wanted to work at nasa since I was a kid but I’m only just now realizing that the space part of NASA is really only half of what they do. Just out of curiosity, are there any “normal” jobs in aviation at NASA?
