How would you pitch your startup to your potential early employees?
Assuming you are the only one in your startup and the people you are pitching to are rational, intelligent people. How would you pitch your startup/vision/dream to people to join you? dangle money in front of them? sell them a dream? find out if both of you have similar values? People of r/startups, how would you do it? I want to know!

Do some founders… just not do anything?
Hi! I’m a college student who has been interning at this early stage startup for over 3 years now, and I’ve quit due to toxic culture. Throughout my 3 years my manager (also the CEO and founder) has only hired admins/secretaries, and I worked with them on creating the entire business strategy, marketing plan, etc. even though neither of us were qualified to do so. When I quit, I was the only one left in the company as an intern, and it’s been about 3 months since then, and I see that mg manager has shut down his business and found a corporate job. In another tech startups my manager (also ceo and founder), hired (unpaid) me and other comp sci students to essentially create his social media platform, from designing, to coding, to beta testing, etc.. The only direction we ever got was “a platform for college students”… Is this normal? I would love to actually work for an early stage startup but I do t want this to hap
