Best Men's Yoga Pants for Heavy Sweating Power Yoga?
TLDR: Heavy sweater needs good, breathable yoga pants to get into arm balances but would prefer not to to go the skin tight, compression route for heated power yoga. I take hot yoga and have hit at impasse when it comes to arm balances due to heavy sweating. I've always been a basic Lululemon tank and shorts guy, but as I have progressed in my practice, I am too sweaty to get past anything beyond crow/twisted crow and for those I need to use a towel on my legs to keep from slipping off my arms. I run hot already and sweat without the heat. I am looking for something that is moisture wicking by also breathable. My shorts and tank are drenched at the end of class, so pants that can withstand that without feeling soggy. I know compression pants are an option but would prefer something a little looser and breathable. I've checked this sub before, but haven't seen anything recent. A guy in my class recommends Vuori, but he is not nearly as sweaty as I am. Guys, any suggestions?

Is there a formula for how to place your arms when doing lying-on-the-floor yoga poses?
Sometimes in class we are told to lie with our arms outstretched, sometimes with our arms like "little goal posts," and sometimes next to our body. Is there a predictable way to place your arms?

Considering teaching

Side plank modifications
Hello, I would like to ask for recommendation of side plank modifications. Whenever I get into the pose, my ankles pressing on each other feel really uncomfortable. Probably I have bonier ankles than others? Or maybe I just have weird proportion… not sure. But it feels really uncomfortable. I usually put my upper leg slightforward so the upper foot’s heel is in front of the lower foot’s toes . Is that an ok modifications? My yoga teacher insisted that I need to stack my feet on top each other though.

Any ideas for simple flows that emphasise body-breath linking?
Hi I’m a teacher. I really like incorporating floor work flows that emphasise ‘riding the breath’ and that are accessible to all. At the moment I do cat/cow, cobra with bent legs to child’s pose and repeat these for quite a few minutes. Are there any others you can think of that are relatively easy I can incorporate in my class? 😊

Yoga and stand up paddle boarding
Does anyone here practice both? Summer is almost in full swing where I live and I would love to take my practice to the water. I’ve done some research and think I have a good idea of what stand up board to get but wanted to check to see if anyone has any input. I’m considering the Gili Komodo 10’6, the Isle Pioneer, and the Bote 10’4. Am open to any suggestions if you’ve had any experience with others. Thanks in advanced🙏🏼

Is 4 times a week for Yoga too much?
I started doing Yoga as a hobby, but soon ended up thinking all day long about the next session. Even more, I sometimes meditate alone in traffic or before sleep.. it seems like my whole day is about Yoga. I wanted to know if going 4 times a week to Yoga classes could be an unhealty decision and if I should focus more on other things as well🙏🏼

Help with corkscrew pose
I was following a yin yoga video and I was introduced to the corkscrew pose, which we transitioned into from lizard pose. The leg that was bent that I was trying to grab at the foot got a massive Charlie horse in it (in the back of my leg, i beleive hamstring) everytime I bent it back. This happened when I tried on the left and right side. Why does this happen and how to I stop it??
