Can you get hurt if you do only do what feels comfortable?
*I know this sounds like an obvious question. I am autistic, please do not be mean in the comments* I really want to start doing yoga but like a lot of other beginners, I’m scared of hurting myself. I was thinking of instead of trying to push myself, I just wanted to kinda flow with my body and do whatever feels comfortable with my body. It kinda makes sense to me that most people would only hurt themselves because they’re trying to nail a position too hard and don’t listen to their body. But can I really hurt myself if I just flow with my body?

Where can I find and learn information about actual Kundalini Yoga practices?
After doing a bit of searching on the internet, I've noticed that Kundalini Yoga has fallen victim to the "latest fad" phenomenon. Since I have no idea what information to trust and everyone is trying to squeeze as much money as possible out of the subject, can anyone tell me where I can find something legitimate, or at least as close to a real practice as possible? I'm not into the religious stuff, my interest comes from a neurobiological and awareness point of view.

why did I feel energy in my heart during yoga?
while doing seated butterfly with extended arms to the front i felt like a hand touched my back and then my heart sort of exploded in a good way. I’m not sure if the teacher did it since she doesn’t usually touch anyone even to correct. Any ideas on what could have happened? Thanks!!

Is sleeping before Yoga going to improve my training or a self-sabotage decision?
In the last few days, I’ve been taking a one hour nap before my Yoga classes and it feels weird to wake up and immediatly start the Yoga training. My mind usually takes half an hour more until it completly wakes up, so my attention level isn’t very high during that period of time. Should I stop doing so?

Emotional release or just overwhelmed?
I did a practice today that was a lot faster pace than I usually do. I started having an issue breathing about halfway through and then the tears started. I cried throughout the last 15 mins of the practice and had to take breaks somewhat frequently. I was holding stretches longer before moving onto the next and my brain felt weird. After I finished the practice I felt dumbfounded and overall very off (i don't know how else to describe it). What does this mean? I cannot tell why I started crying. I originally thought I was overwhelmed and feeling defeated, which could've been the original reason, but it felt like more.

ischium injury?
I was trying to do a hip opening yesterday, cold. I think my teacher call it Utanasana. Left leg back and right, with bent rib, forward. Think is I didn't have my knee just over my anjlr, my anjlr was forward, It wasn't very stable. when lowering the hip on the right side I heard a loud crack, I noticed a certain 'movement' in the ischium area and discomfort. Today the ischium area bothers me when supporting my leg and when walking, if it is cold. It doesn't bother me, for example, taking my foot back and up, so I suppose it's not from the hamstring. Any idea what it could be?

4 fundamental yoga postures
Hello everyone, I remember reading somewhere there where 4 basic yoga postures, from memory is was a quote form some of the vadas. I can’t remember but I think Vishnu said there were 4 postures and they were the only ones you needed. I think they were sitting meditation postures like lotus etc. Does any one know what they were? Or am I making things up. It was a long time ago, not sure. Thanks you.

Arms Tingling/Burning Sensation
Hi all. I'm new to yoga. Just following a beginner session on youtube. I've noticed lately that my arms tingle when I raise them up while stretching. Is this normal? Or should I stop? Thanks
