Emotions stored in the shoulders?
I always read about emotions stored in the hips and how stretching the hips or yoga poses focusing in the hips brings up emotions in people…I don’t experience that but stretching my shoulders and neck literally makes me cry with emotions. I can’t find anything with googling. Has anyone heard about this? What is that and why?

Down Dog App
I really enjoy using the Down Dog app, but as I've progressed I feel really limited as far as the time limits go. When I do ashtanga, for example, you cannot set the time higher than 60 or 80 minutes. I don't want to do 2 separate practices. Is there a way to raise the time limit? I'm so frustrated with this!

Where to incorporate Uddiyana bandha engagement in asana practice ?
Salut à tous, blessings on your Sunday or whatever weekday you may be reading this. This is likely a question I should ask my teacher too, but am always interested in crowdsourcing opinion. At what point in your practice (primary series or otherwise) do you/ would you incorporate activation of uddiyana bandha. I believe in Mysore classes I have observed practitioners engaging the bandha through pranayama either in or prior to Utpluthi. Can anyone offer insight on when is traditional during asana practice to transition to different forms of pranayama or body mudras. Currently I practice Nadi Shodhana (breathing) after yoga mudra and during padmasana. Thank you

Going on my first retreat and need some advice
Hi all, I'll be going on my first (short) yoga retreat next month in Barcelona. In the welcoming email it was stated that upon arrival, I will have the opportunity to discuss my preferences and wishes in a 1 on 1 convo with one of the teachers. I've been doing daily yoga at home for 2.5 years now, but I'm not entirely sure what to communicate. Should I tell the teacher physical things I want to achieve, like headstands or balancing poses, or should I focus on mental things (like being more confident, focused etc.). I suspect that whatever I will say will be good, but I wanted to check with you guys to see if there's any advice you can give me. Thanks!
