Advanced yoga postures is not advanced yoga.
Just a friendly reminder. I feel like I constantly have students that join my class, completely destroyed by classes outside our studio because they’ve experienced unfortunate remarks or awful situations due to other instructors or students. There is not an advanced version of a pose: It’s just another variation. Using props doesn’t make you any less of a yogi. Not being able to practice downward dog, or handstands, doesn’t make your practice invalid. In fact, maybe you’re never able to do any sort of posture on a yoga mat.. you may still very well be an advanced yoga practitioner. The yoga philosophy can be so healing and refreshing, and does not discriminate.

Best Aspects of Yoga to Practice in the Morning
Hi everyone, I've allegedly been practicing Yoga on and off for 12 years or so. Turns out I was trying to build a house without nails. I'm currently returning to a Yoga practice from more of a sexual energy conservation perspective. In short my goals are self-realization/god realization and I wouldn't mind allowing the space for my body to heal and rebalance either. I usually practice Asana in the afternoon or early evening simply because it feels more productive. My body is more limber from moving around all day. However I'm working to incorporate different aspects of Yoga and also feel the need to have some kind of a morning practice, even if there's no Asana or just very basic asana. My main question is as follows: would the morning be a good time to practice bandha or pranayama? I haven't really done much pranayama yet but am learning the bandhas and am curious if the morning is a good time to practice them. Other tips are also welcome and appreciated. Thank you!

I don‘t really understand Yoga?
How do you learn new poses? You choose one that looks fun, put on your clothes try it, and that‘s it? And someday after a few weeks or months trying it you‘ll achieve it?

Would any teachers be interested in taking their students on a yoga retreat ? I am building a yoga retreat center which is cost effective + has amenities for shared space(s). What should I keep in mind when designing for you ?

I’m beginning to understand myself just a little bit more
I’ve been practising yoga now for about a year, on and off. Lately I’ve been doing more as to help relieve tension in both my mind and body. The last practise I had I almost came to a sort of epiphany. A lot of the poses I feel like I’m just out of reach, in a sense, like I have something inside me that I’m holding onto that I really need to let go. Each time I try to push myself more and more but I end up getting frustrated because I kept feeling like I’m just out of reach. Today I kinda realised it’s because I hold onto things that really should be released. Any of you fellow yogis feel the same or had similar feelings?
