Any LPC/LMFT/etc. on here who have also completed the Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Training?
I'm curious about the training itself (I would likely compete it through IAYT) and what the process looks like. If you're also a licensed mental healthcare professional, I'm also wondering how it has potentially guided you as a clinician and in how you care for clients processing heavy trauma. Is it too much or too less?
I'm new to yoga, so I thought the best way to start off was to do it for 15 minutes every other day. That way I had a day in between to rest my body. I plan to eventually push for 30 minutes, then eventually an hour, but I want to start slow and give my body time to get used to it. I follow a 15-minute yoga for beginner's video on youtube, but I was just wondering. Is doing 15 minutes every other day too much or is not enough? I've only been doing it for a week, so far. Also, any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated as well.

How does doing Yoga Nidra on a day time affects you ?
Hey Beautiful people, I've been practicing Yoga Nidra for a couple of months mostly before sleep and sometimes after I wake in early morning. I feel the chill/relax vibe mostly but if I get tired I also fall asleep which I am fine if it is at night. My question is, when you do it in the morning and you sleep, could it affect your day productivity in a negative way (i.e becoming sleepy) ? Or could it even make me more productive since I get to have enough rest with Yoga Nidra. (esp I snore quite a lot and my 8 hr sleep isn't truly 8hr sleep but more like 4-5 hrs). What to do with AUM chanting if I live with people who get annoyed? My practice is twice a day and I live with people who get annoyed from AUM chanting. Do I have to lower my voice? How do I continue my everyday practice without having to annoy the others?
