Tips for a complete beginner with back pain
After 2 years of absolutely no workout my back pain has become so severe that I decided to start doing yoga. I have previously worked out a lot, both cardio and at the gym. After I hurt my knee I haven't worked out at all. Tried yoga a couple of times and liked it, just never been able to continously stick to it. So yesterday I decided to try out yoga again. I put on yoga with Adriene and did her "Yoga for absolute beginners". Doing this I realized that I can barely sit cross legged without tipping backwards and today my body is so unbelievably sore from that **basic** yoga that I'll honestly need several days to rest before trying again. So that's why I'm here. I really want to try yoga, but I don't know where to start since even the most basic lessons seem to be too difficult. So what's your tips for a complete newbie with zero base strength and severe back pain?

I find it hard to square my hips in standing split
In standing split (not that I'm actually doing it properly ahahaha!) Everytime I try to do it, my hips lean in the direction that my leg is lifted. And then, when I square them, my leg that's in the air is bent and I just can't do the split properly. Any tips?
