The feeling of not practicing
Hey everyone. So I have been practicing for about 2 years now; some weeks I am consistent; others not. When I do practice along with mediation, and I am disciplined, I feel great and ready to take on the day. This week and last have been struggles and honestly I feel it almost in my body when I don’t practice and my body is craving for yoga. I have often felt sluggish, lethargic, you name it. Anyone felt this way before like your body needs yoga if you go without it for too long???

Tight trapezius & popping
There's been some tightness/pain in between my shoulders and lower neck. The only thing that temporarily alleviates the pain is massaging and downward dog, but when I do a downward dog, there's a popping noise that comes from in between my shoulders. Are there other yoga routines that can help?

Heard some clicks from my neck last month after doing headstand - it got better after some sorts massage & rest from upper body workouts. After 2 weeks of rest I practiced headstands a few times this week and just today i experienced slight discomfort in the same area. Any tips?

Yoga to Cold Weather?
I started doing Bikram Yoga a couple months ago and absolutely love it. The yoga studio is only 2 blocks from my house which is about a 5-7 min walk. Now that the weather is getting a bit cooler, it can be quite cold on my walk back. My question here is, is it bad to just embrace the cold and walk back or should I be sitting around and cooling down before leaving? Ive heard that cold plunges after hot yoga can be a great thing. Is doing a cold plunge that different than just walking home in the cold? I can handle the cold relatively well and try to work on my breathing on the way home which seems to help out a lot. Any thoughts here?

Perhaps the solution to sustained attention is to stop trying so hard. Science supports this approach. https://t.co/P4sWDib6g9
