Is a studio membership worth the price?
In college I took a yoga class that was 2x a week in a studio. I’m really interested in getting back into a consistent yoga practice! I’ve been looking into places like Corepower and YogaSix, but everything is so expensive. Is the price of a monthly membership worth it? Are there other cost-effective ways to practice yoga (aside from on my own)? Thanks in advance!

Manduka for travel!! Which one os better? Help meee pleaseee
Hi, I need help deciding on which mat is better for traveling. I am between the Manduka Eko Superlite and the Manduka Pro Travel. I have read many reviews on both and there's so many mixed feelings with both so I am super confused. I obviously would prefer the Eko Superlite because its cheaper but I also want the best one for this. I want one that will be easy to travel with (I like that both of this mats can be fold, but I see the PRO travel it doesn't leave too much space left which I don't like that). I also read that the PRO Travel feels more like the pro and it's not made of rubber, I have the Manduka PRO for my daily practice and I love it but for travel I also want something light and thin. Do you have any of those? If so, what are your opinions and which one you think I should buy? Thanks.

Thank you to all the yoga teachers!
Hey all, I am an older student new to yoga and have been trying out a bunch of teachers. Of course some classes are a better fit for me than others, but every single teacher has created a welcoming environment and taught me something valuable. I was intimidated at the start but the teachers have been so kind and skilled at giving cues and modifications. Many explicitly emphasize accessibility in their class descriptions, which was so reassuring at my age. I know teacher training is a big investment and I'm sure teaching yoga isn't an easy way to make a living, so I just want you to know your contributions are noticed and appreciated. You really are making lives better! Thank you!

For any form of self-care practices to be fully effective, you have to start by showing up for yourself… and being willing to do it again and again and again and again! You have to decide that you are WORTHY of your own love. 🤍✨ @yogayely https://t.co/5E77BF16Up https://t.co/72dX5nlqjo

What’s up with the sound of my knees? Anyone else get this when doing yoga? (I carried twins to full term in 2020 and my knees have sounded like this ever since. No pain but they hurt really bad when carrying the 3rd trimester weight)

Try to practice it daily, especially when you have spent prolonged periods sitting or standing. https://t.co/rNufktrhOT

Do you include Savasana in your at-home practice?
Typically when I practice at home I self-guide myself through a flow (i.e. not following a video or other set sequence). Once I finish flowing, I usually feel no urge to take a savasana and just roll up my mat and go about my day. When I practice in studio I really enjoy savasana and settle in, but at home it feels like I can’t truly relax. My question is, am I really missing out on any major benefits by NOT including savasana? I don’t want to sell my practice short, but if unable/uninterested in the pose I’m not sure it’s worth doing. Would be interested in others thoughts and experiences. Thanks in advance!
