Malasana Squat with TKR?

I was blessed to have a knee replaced and I'm now right back in the space of stretching out my middle aged body. After three years on regular daily practice and then a 5 year hiatus, yoga just feels good two years after this surgery. In my new knee, my pain is very different with my Deputy Attune knee, and I'm curious to know if any yogis might be experienced with, and have advice for increasing my flexion. Having surrendered to not being able to bend it fully, I report I'm quite pleased with the ability to almost malasana squat, stopped only by the uncomfortable pinch/leverage I get when just 5 degrees short of a complete one. My doctor is happy with my ability, but I'd like to know why I can't and if I can get deeper. What have you done to up level your new knees?

November is here, and with seasonal changes comes an opportunity to reset by cultivating intentions for the month ahead. This month, try incorporating simple self-care techniques, explore different styles of yoga, or begin a meditation practice. https://t.co/6cxL4SaEEt https://t.co/J8k59X4Wny

We have a hunch that sitting too much (and staring at your phone) is doing a number on your back and shoulders. https://t.co/45msMH4JI3
