Forward Fold to Chaturanga Dandasana Float
I’ve been playing around with floating forward in my Sun A’s and Sun B’s in my Vinyasa based practice. A forward float is easy for me to visualize with the all the resources on that transition. I’m having trouble figuring out the reverse float and am learning by trial and error. So far I’m shifting my weight forward of my hands and trying a reverse pike of sorts but it hasn’t “clicked” yet. For what it’s worth I have really tight hamstrings which does limit how far I can get my hips over my hands. Does anybody have a video or guidance on that transition?

Best online course for side splits and pancake?
Hey everyone. Long story short: I have been doing martial arts for many years and am really flexible, I have also been doing yoga for a while but at a relatively low level. A few months back I started training for the full splits as I am already pretty flexible. Result: Injury in my thigh. Now that I have recovered I would love a course that takes me through the journey of learning the full split, with warm ups included. What is the greatest course / workout plans you know of for the full splits and pancake?

How do I find a zoom yoga class?
I’m looking to find a zoom yoga class in the evenings (pacific time zone) where the instructor gives feedback (doesn’t have to be a lot, I find it more like going in person to a studio and enjoy it more) How do you all, who are doing remote classes, find them? What do you look for?

How to refocus during balance training?
I'm having a lot of issues mentally regrouping after attempting and then falling out of a balance pose. I've been working pretty consistently on my balancing asanas but I find that when I am having a 'bad' day for balance, it's impossible for me to not focus on the failing aspect and I feel like this then negatively affects my following balances/transitions/poses right out of balancing. Also any tips for deepening natarajasana/dancers (getting my leg higher than perpendicular to my standing leg)?

Arms too short or legs too long?
Every time I try to transfer myself from the downward dog position to any other “leg in between arms” position, I encounter problems. I see people around me being able to smoothly swing their leg, so that it is neatly placed in between their arms at a right angle. However, when I attempt to do it, I’m never able to swing my leg to reach the right destination. It always ends up stuck halfway. Then I need to lift myself a bit and adjust it. I always wonder if it’s my arms being too short, making my legs impossible to be moved in one go or are those my legs that are just too long? Anyone else has this problem and is there a way to work it out?

Energy release tips
I’ve been really focusing on hip openers recently, specifically working on my pigeon pose. I find myself completely overcome with emotion during this pose. It typically brings some tears to my eyes or more recently, shakey breath. No matter how I try to take a smooth exhale it’s choppy, almost like energy trying to leave my body. Today during practice my feet and lower legs started twitching in this pose, again like energy trying to exit. Any tips to help move the energy out more efficiently?
