Yoga for anxiety?
Hey everyone, I have generalized anxiety disorder and panic disorder (insomnia, racing heart/elevates my blood pressure, racing thoughts, phobias, tension held in my body especially my neck). I have been practicing yoga and meditation from YouTube and noticed a huge improvement in my ability to relax my body and mind. I've done different styles and was wondering what's the best for someone with these issues? I'm thinking of focusing on yin or restorative, what exactly is the difference between the two and which would you recommend? Also, which types are best for different times in the day? Thank you! Would love to hear from others who have developed a regular practice to help with their anxiety.

Intense yoga weekends / retreats [UK]?
Hi guys, I live in rural UK and would love to do some yoga bootcamp-style weekends / retreats. I don’t have any studios near me so it would make more sense to travel someplace, stay a few nights and make the most of the travelling! Any recommendations would be hugely appreciated. Yoga is helping me accept my body
It’s a long road. 40F I’ve always loathed my body and put it through all sorts of excesses. I’m still struggling at the most basic poses, feeling like my knees are about to burst when even only in child’s pose. Even now I can see how yoga can help me becoming kinder and more appreciative of my body. It is a slow process but I like observing even small changes, how I am able to hold longer poses in yin or just deepening stretches and building strength. Thank you to this community and to all those helping out.

Are there any stretches/exercises I can do outside of yoga to open up my hips and hamstrings?
I really want to achieve a full lotus pose and full forward bend. I know it can take months/years but if there is anything I can do outside of yoga to help meet this goal sooner, I would definitely like to know.
