Yoloha deletes bad reviews?
I bought the mat after seeing great reviews on this sub, but it wasn't for me. I found it collected debris and my hands tend to be dry so I slipped a lot. I wanted to return but they wouldn't let me. When I purchased it was a 60 day return policy, but when I tried to return they told me they switched to 30 days months ago. That same day I received promotional emails that said 60 day returns. I sent them the evidence but they ignored and said they wouldn't honor it and were pretty curt with me. I was going to let it go (it's not a horrible mat, just not great for me) but with Black Friday, I saw so many emails advertising 60-day returns regularly and extended holiday returns. The false advertising really irked me so I left a 1 star review to let people know. I looked today and it looks like they deleted my review. Makes me wonder how many poor reviews they've gotten before. Just some food for thought and a heads up if you're considering Yoloha. Has anyone else experienced this?

Overweight no medical reason why, but I’m retaining water
Is yoga right for me? I’ve always wanted to learn, but have always been shy about my body, and I’m not very limber (flexible) but I want to be! I’m also 40 years old! Can I be helped?

Hypermobility / double jointed hips - not overstretching
Hi - I know there have been plenty of posts on this, but wanted advice on hypermobility in practice I have a daily, hour long hot vinyasa studio practice at a fairly intensive studio I don’t typically do traditional gym/weight focused workouts - other physical activities are skiing and playing tennis I’ve gotten the advice to focus more on building strength than flexibility. Im great with any flexibility focused poses (king pigeon, all kinds of binds, king dancer, etc) but struggle with things like crow, that require arm strength. My teacher recommended adding in strength training - both to advance in my practice, and to have a lower risk of injury while stretching. I’ve thought about adding in yoga sculpt at core power once a week, even though they aren’t my regular studio Does anyone have recommendations, or has worked on the same issue?

[comp] Abbreviated Primary Series Hyperlapse. I see a lot of strong, flexible and trim yogis in this subreddit (who inspire me greatly). What I don't see is a lot of people who look like me. For all of the yogis out there carrying some extra baggage, this one's for you.

Sky Breath Yoga
Has anyone tried the Sky Breath "yoga" course by Art of Living? It seems primarily breathing. Interesting studies on benefits done at a couple of leading universities but I see very few comments online from actual attendees. Has anyone attended? Interested to also know what the home followup routine is after attending the initial course. Thanks

Hip flexor (psoas) and breathing?
Hi guys I have had shallow breathing for a few years now and have suffered in pain for these years. More recently i started to do psoas release exercises and it looks like my breathing gets better. However after series of activity during the days, it looks like the psoas gets tight again and the breathing becomes bad as well. Question; 1. Why do i breathe better after releasing psoas? 2. Is there a permanent fix to release the psoas? I have suffered for years and would really appreciate any help or advice Thanks
