Best yoga/surf retreats you’ve been to? Looking into some of the more budget friendly ones in Costa Rica or Mexico. But wouldn’t mind spending some money if it was really worth it. Approx. 5-8 days. Would really like to deepen my practice and detox my mind and body.

Joint Pain - Need super thick mat (>10mm) but worried about off-gassing with TPE
Sorry to post another mat question, but wasn't finding this very specific topic by searching old posts. I've been using a TPE mat that is a 12.7mm thick and extra wide too for a few years. Anything less I find hurts my joints. Now I need a new mat and have been looking into the usual suspects for rubber &/or cork mats, but they all seem very thin. Putting a blanket over my older thin mat (also TPE) isn't cutting it. Does anyone have suggestions or can speak to how those material cushion/bounce? My concerns with TPE are off-gassing (asthmatic so extra sensitive) and sustainability. Concerns with natural mats are cushion/thickness & fake "all-natural" materials.

Anyone help?
I’m looking for advice on yoga, so right now I have an appointment booked with a physio, I’m having an issue where I have seriously tight hamstrings that’s prevalent in any sort of hip hinge or keeping a neutral spine. The issue is keeping the neutral spine and hinging with hips. I’m an avid gym goer and need something to help with fixing my deadlift form, I wanted to ask experienced yogis if yoga classes can help with this particular issue or to go ahead with the physio appointment although I’m not in pain with anything just that issue I stated. I’ve had a few private sessions with a teacher before but nothing really changed with the hamstring flexibility but maybe if I take classes and go consistently it may help? Give me your opinion I’d really appreciate it.

Hip joint popping a lot when doing yoga
I tried this video ([https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8T39OBNaNzU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8T39OBNaNzU)) this morning but have noticed this when doing other practices. Basically, any time I'm doing leg lifts (in this video, when it gets to scissoring the legs up and down), my right hip joint will pop quite significantly. After 10-12 reps it gets a little sore as it pops on every rep. I'm not sure if that's due to the exercise itself or the popping. My left hip joint pops a little bit but not nearly as much. Is this something that will fade with more use, or is this something I should be concerned about? In this practice specifically, it's happening when I have my hands underneath my bum — is that changing the position of the leg enough to make it pop? I don't feel the popping when doing, say, mountain climbers.
