Do you need to do more than yoga for that “fit look”?
I signed up to a yoga studio and have gone 5 times so far. Every teacher is so fit and stands so straight and tall. It’s honestly body goals for me. Question is, is yoga enough to get that fit look? Or do most yoga instructors also do weight training?

How do you start doing self guided yoga?
I'm new to yoga, I've only been practicing regularly for a couple weeks now and I really enjoy it. I've been doing yoga with Adriene, which is great, but I've found that I really want to try doing my own thing with no talking to distract me, maybe just some nice music. How does one work towards this?

multiple smaller sessions?
I get antsy with longer sessions. I'm thinking about starting with 2 15 minute sessions a day and a 30 minute session once a week until I get used to longer sessions. Will this be enough to see progress? And if I don't really get used to longer sessions would splitting an hour into 3 or 4 different sessions be just as good as one long one?

Constantly thinking of endings
I can’t seem to enjoy ANYTHING in my life because my mind always immediately goes to the fact that it will end. I just got into a great relationship, but whenever I am with them I just think of our probable breakup that will happen at some point. I have a great family and friends, my days are filled with joy. But whenever I am experiencing a beautiful moment, I just think how it’s end is inevitable. This is soso upsetting to me because I truly have all the things needed to have a great and happy life, but these thoughts consume me. They don’t let me enjoy what I do have for now. I’ve been meditating for years now and what it has helped me with is recognizing these thoughts, however it hasn’t helped in getting rid of them. What do I do? How do I not let my mind ruin all the beautiful things happening to me?

Breathing with simple movements - what is it called?
Hi all, in the past I’ve really enjoyed the practice of a short sequence of movements repeated, synchronised with the breath. I don’t mean a full vinyasa practice but for example, in some of Adriene’s videos she will raise the arms out to the sides, being hands to prayer, move the hands above the head and then into the sky. Then float the hands to the side again, and repeat. Sometimes the sequences involve forward bends but not too much other full body movements. My question is do these sort of sequences have a name? I want to start practising these first thing in the morning as they really energise me, but the thought of doing a whole full body practice is too daunting for my tired mind first thing. I think doing this a few mornings in a row will ease me in to doing more. I can’t find the videos Tom that include this now and following a video motivates me even though I know the routine already. Hope that made sense!

Pain in arm doing chatarangas
Hello! I noticed a new pain in my arm when doing chatarangas…I have never had issues before and it’s preventing me from going through a flow like I usually do….it happens when I’m in the plank and then slowly coming down and bending my elbows in…it’s located on tricep area. Anyone have any ideas on what to do?
