We need your help! Please SIGN and SHARE this petition. Moti’s death was likely preventable, and we’re asking the government to enforce biannual health inspections for all captive elephants in India. PETITION LINK IN BIO With Moti’s last breath, he reminded us that we must keep fighting. Unfortunately, we had hoped for many, many more signatures on our petition to show officials that Moti’s life was important. If you haven’t signed and SHARED our petition, please do so now. Inspections are so important for the future of all captive elephants in India. #Moti #motielephant #refusetoride #elephantrescue #elephants #wildliferescue #india #elephanthospital #wildlifesos #responsibletourism

Playful moments via marysmark. 💦 The killer whale, otherwise known as an orca, inhabit all oceans of the world. While they are most abundant in colder waters like Alaska, Antarctica, and Norway, they are also spotted in tropical and subtropical waters such as in Hawaii, Australia, and the Bahamas. These powerful whales can range from around 25 to 30 feet in length, often spouting every few seconds while swimming and cruising at the surface, as shown in these creatively merged photos. 🐳 Have you ever spotted an orca in the wild? 🖤 Photos by marysmark

#WorldWildlifeDay To get up close with wildlife, one does not always need to visit far off places like dense forests. If observed closely, our backyard can be an equally rich treasure trove. Cities also have their fair share of ‘wild’ animals. Reptiles, birds, insects, and mammals are all found in today’s urban, concrete jungles. This World Wildlife Day, let us not forget about the ones with whom we share our very homes! What are some common wild animals that you find in your backyard? #wildlife #wildlifesosindia #wildlifesos #wildlife #wildanimal #animal #animals #saveanimals #wildlifeconservation #conservation #nature #animallovers #india #wildlifeday #wildlifeonearth #infographic #photooftheday #urbanphotography #urbanwildlife #insects #frogs #reptiles #snakes #mammals #birds
