Riece update: She was found at around 2 months old with her spine severed, left in a box alone on the side of the road. She was extremely fearful at first but with lots of love has become the very affectionate. She was on bed rest for 6-8 weeks to allow her spine to heal — it’s now clear that she does have some movement in her hind legs which makes us hopeful. She will be starting physical therapy next week and we can't wait to see her progress. Riece is able to scoot around the in her foster home at a surprising speed and does not let her little back legs stop her.  She’s becoming more and more playful and so full of life! She has no idea that she is different from any other dog. We are so very proud of her and look forward to seeing her continue to blossom.
