A very Handsome Lady

Have you ever heard of the Mekong River? Winding almost 3,000 miles from the Tibetan plateau down to the South China Sea, the river is home to at least 1,200 freshwater species, including the giant freshwater stingray, the Irrawaddy dolphin, and the Mekong giant catfish. Tens of millions of people across six countries – China, Myanmar, Lao PDR, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam – rely on the Mekong River for nourishment and to support their livelihoods.

We were tagged in a Facebook post about someone wanting to rehome their dog. They had children and felt the dog had too much energy, so they kept her trapped in a small crate. When we saw the post, and the conditions she was living in, we knew we had to step in. Thanks to our amazing fosters, we were able to find her a safe place to land. She was incredibly hyper and stressed during the transition but has since learned she is able to run and play, to be a dog — no longer confined. We don’t think they meant to give her such a small space to live in, they just didn’t know better. After a few weeks in foster she is now ready for her forever home.
