Does a father bring his toddler daughter into the men's or lady's bathroom?
Having this discussion with my wife after bringing my daughter into the men's room *to go potty* at a museum. Zero wait, walk right into the stall, does her business, wash hands and we're out. My wife thinks I should be taking her into the women's room, but that just doesn't make sense to me, my daughter is 4 btw, she's doesn't GAF. Edit, showing these replies to my wife will be interesting 😁👌

Sorry to everyone else but I got the BEST Mother’s Day gift ever
My student loans-in the amount of $195,000-was forgiven by Dept of Ed!!! No more paying $1000 a month on those loans (that’ll go towards paying part of my baby’s daycare costs instead lol)

Walking outside on trails helps toddlers develop balance, strength & coordination. Plus, with things to touch, see & smell, it's the perfect place for sensory play! But if hiking with a toddler sounds hard, try these tips to help make it easy for everyone: https://t.co/NDge1izIT1 https://t.co/8dkcYAYjXn

Is it irresponsible to leave my baby overnight?
I just need a gut check here. My husband and I have plans to go to a concert at the end of May when our baby will be 5 months old. My MIL agreed to take our son overnight at her house since we'll be coming back really late. I feel really OK with this. I trust my MIL completely and she's been great with him on days that she watches him while we are both at work (from 8-5). She comes to our house. He's bottle-fed breastmilk and either sleeps through the night or wakes up once which she is prepared for. He's a well-behaved/happy baby and my MIL's house is super clean without pets. We are going to do a "trial run" where we bring everything to her house and she watches him for the day (not overnight) to see how it goes. Am I completely insane for considering this?

Husband Appreciation
Hi everyone! Long time lurker but first time poster and first time mom to a beautiful 3 month old little girl! I just wanted to gush about my husband because he went above and beyond for my first Mother’s Day and it just an all around amazing husband and father. He woke up before baby and I yesterday to run out and surprise me with coffee, breakfast, flowers, and a heated foot massager machine that I’ve been wanting for forever. Then when little miss and I came out to living room after a nap he had surprised us by getting and putting together a new bouncer/activity center for her and said he wanted to spoil both of his girls :) I am forever grateful for this man and he is the love of my life and best friend. He works so hard for us and is our rock. I hope everyone had an amazing Mother’s Day! Sorry for the sappy post but just a very happy woman 🥰

This morning, as half chewed Shreddies tumbled out of Delilah's mouth like an over filled cement mixer, I asked Delilah what the best thing was about being her. Without hesitation, she blurted out her response - "Being a twin......I'm with my best friend all the time". That made my heart melt, but then, it can't always be a bed roses can it? So here's a question to twins and parents of twins. Do they ever get to a stage when they hate being a twin? When they get tired of being confused for their sibling or when they just straight up don't like being known as 'the twins'? I'm guessing early teens perhaps and I'm sure it varies hugely as everyone's different, but I just can't see them ever not being super close (or stop pretending to be a two headed person when they get out and share a dressing gown). #twinlife #twins #happliyeverafter #fatherofdaughters #dadlife #twinparent #fod

Why the f*** do people feel the need to share their food/ drinks with toddlers?!
This is just a rant, but twice in the last month or so now, I’ve been at a family gathering and I catch someone sharing with my 1 year old, the first was Easter, and my uncle was giving him food off his fork. I took my son away and we moved on with our day. Then on Saturday I went to the bathroom and came out to my grandmother (who admitted to not feeling well) was giving my son water from her straw. What the eff is wrong with people?! Now I have a sick kid and I’m pissed.

Amid long, structured school days, recess serves as a critical outlet and break for kids, according to experts. But, on any given day, an untold number of children in elementary schools nationwide have all or part of their recess revoked. @hechingerreport https://t.co/W4mQbIT6tr

Nobody to talk to
My husband is constantly gone working and I am always stuck at home with our son. He does not listen, he has screaming tantrums, that are so extreme. I feel so alone and hopeless, like im a single parent even tho im not. I feel like I'll accidentally hurt him one day and have to kill myself. There's nobody in my life. I am everybody's life, nobody is ever there for me.

WE ARE FREE
I made a post here about a year ago asking questions about terminating my sons fathers parental rights. I also make a little update comment here and WE ARE FREE. He refused every opportunity to be interviewed by the courts and the judge found it in my baby’s best interest to set him free from that man!! That abuser has no claim to my boy! I almost cried. I am so happy.

Drinking and holding baby
How do you feel about people drinking alcohol and holding your baby, even if they aren’t drunk? My dad drinks, sometimes too much, and asks to hold my five month old. Am I overreacting if I insist that nobody who has been drinking can hold me son?
