All living beings on this planet are interconnected, thus when the existence of a species is threatened, it triggers the loss of other species which results in an imbalanced ecosystem. The existence of these species remains under threat due to various reasons including habitat destruction, poaching or diseases. This #EndganderedSpeciesDay, we would like to highlight some of the lesser-known, yet highly endangered species of India that are at the brink of extinction. Wildlife SOS has been involved in the conservation efforts for over two decades with our Rapid Response Units ensuring the safety of these animals, and of reintroducing them back to the wild, where they rightfully belong.
