For 'Flags and Debris,' Doug Aitken's current exhibition at Regen Projects, the artist initiated a series of impromptu performances based on choreographies he developed working with LA Dance Project. A new multiscreen installation captures these mysterious and random encounters throughout an emptied out Los Angeles in which dancers wrapped in the artworks move through shadowland spaces like shrouded bodies in chrysalis. dougaitkenworkshop #DougAitken #FlagsandDebris #RegenProjects ladanceproject
