They began with 100% cotton paper coated in egg white and salt. Once dry, it was dipped into silver nitrate to become light sensitive, then placed under a glass negative and exposed to the sun. Last, it was placed in a sodium thiosulfate solution that would set the image forever. https://t.co/8gprVpZUtn
