2019 Bowman Weald (yep, THAT bike)
This is my first disc brake build with Rival AXS and Scribe 365 wheels. Finishing kit is power arc with wiggle carbon seatpost and kalloy uno stem+ zipp bars. The entire build was made with parts from my parts bin or on-sale stuff and ended up being around $1200. Frame was from a friend who gave it to me for free in basically new condition. Inspected the frame deeply and the only real defect I could find was poor headset bearing seats. Besides this none of the other issues plaguing the 2021 Bowmans were found on this bike. were Bowman’s history, as we all know, is infamous but it hasn’t exploded into bits yet so there’s that. Fingers crossed mine wont, but if it does I’ll just go buy an Allez Sprint frameset. PS please don’t roast me for my bartape.

My old school S-Works Tricross gravel conversion out on a field day!
Bought the bike a year ago and it needed some love. It's a 2008 Specialized S-Works Tricross cyclocross bike originally. Fitted a nice DT Swiss P1800 wheelset and 38 mm Vredestein Aventura cross tires. Replaced the brakes with Ultegra cantilevers that were hard to source! The rest of the bike is also Ultegra equipped. I also got rid of the straight bars to fit flared handlebars. Protip: if you get a second hand bike, look into replacing the rubber hoods. It's only €15 or so, and makes a huge difference! Love the way it rides and looks! Not sure if the weird S fact rubber insert inside the fork does anything though, haha!
