These two images I purely tested the single point focus, to get good focus on the bird sitting amongst the foliage. I usually have the AF-C (auto focus continuous) on but switched to AF-S (auto focus single). The single point is great to use for grabbing focus through obstructions around the subject. I customized a button on top of the camera to access this feature quickly while shooting. The second shot illustrates how I shot through foliage to get the eye of the Galah. When you shoot and look for quality light, the camera really shines.
