Treasury yields rose again

So my last post on here was also about this, but I promise I’m not just constantly obsessed with this aspect of the market. Basically I heard about the importance of the bond yield rate recently and it sounded quite important. Then I heard about the auction happening on Wednesday and that sounded like it could have consequences, good or bad. From what I understand, the auction was able to sell bonds and thus the yield rate didn’t raise much at all. Then I was like “ok cool that’s over with.” But today I am on my yahoo finance app and just happen to see TNX as one of the suggested/trending/whatever items. TNX is the 10 year treasury indicator (idk if it’s a stock or a index or what). And I see that it’s at 1.626 which is higher than it closed at from the auction on Wednesday (1.52 or something). So why did it jump up again? I thought it was supposed to be steady after the auction on Wednesday kind of set things in place. Does it matter really?

Am I taking too long?

Hi everyone, Decided to join this sub because I'm currently developing a small business,but I'm first starting to study the basics because I really don't want to dive in without any knowledge in marketing, finances and etc...so I've started an mba online and some other courses which so far have really helped me pave the way, which once was completely blank and full of doubts. My "problem"is ..am I taking too long to open my business ? I mean, I read online that it's better to start as soon as possible and learn a long the way but I've been an employee many years and saw many many businesses struggling because lack of understanding in these things that can easily be learned if you want. What's your input on this? Im really trying to be successful and have a conscious business ,not just some idea that could turn one day into a business. My product is well though off and I have a big know how on that ...just need some reassurance.

Networking advice needed

So my wife tells me I need to network more, and to be fair, she's right. However, I seem to have such a hard time doing that. It's just something ineffable that keeps me from really connecting with people, especially strangers. Now, her particular networking tool of choice is social media and she has been trying to get me to use it more as well. Despite my efforts though, I always get hit with this paralysis as soon as I go to compose a tweet, or write a bio or make a post. I just never know what to say. I know for sure I'm overthinking the whole thing, but I suppose my question is, if anyone else here uses social media platforms, how do you do it? What do you even say? And lastly, if you do use social media, has it been beneficial to growing your professional network?

Need advice for opening a store in a dangerous area (US)

It was the only available option as all other available spaces required a 3 year lease minimum. This spot is month to month but obviously the downside is the location. Any tips from other business owners with stores in bad areas? I already have a customer base for my products and they’re willing to travel here to make purchases.

Any advantage to filing a business in a no-income-tax state?

Hi everyone. I just did taxes and was taxed for income in the state my sole proprietor LLC is filed in (MO). (I now live in Arkansas and was not taxed by Arkansas.) Would I save this money in taxes if I filed an LLC out of a no-income-tax state instead of Missouri, or am I going to get walloped somehow? If it does eliminate that extra tax, which state the best? (I've heard some have required reports or fees in lieu of taxation.) All of my business is online, so no particular legal issues with operating a business out of a state I don't live in that I can tell.

Juicing kits

Hello everyone, I am doing some research and would greatly appreciate you feedback. I want to get feedback on juicing kits delivery, clients would receive whole fruits instead of the bottles. Once a week, every day a different juice suggestion. A client would have to have a juicer, and if they don’t we offer great prices on juicers due to a partnership with a company that produces juicers. They will receive recipes, and also meal plans for the rest of the day to encourage them to only have juice for breakfast. Instead of fasting our company proposes “wet fasting with juices”. This way we will avoid the unnecessary bottle pile up and have a freshly squeezed juice every day. We would be focusing on weightloss and overall health. Would this be something you would be interested in? Or someone you know? Thank you.

Employee turnover & benefits. How do you deal?

I have been doing some research as I am in the interviewing process to hire 2-3 people. They seem very promising and have just the skillset I am looking for, but they have stated that they are looking for a higher pay range than I am offering. I can't afford to raise their pay right now, but I have looked into benefits and other intangibles that might help them decide. In turn, I am scared that if I don't get the right combination of pay & benefits my turnover will be high, which will be a waste of my time and resources. What have you found that has worked in your experience?
