Have you heard? @NASApersevere is recording sounds on Mars! A planet’s atmosphere affects the speed, volume & quality of sound. For example, a normal conversation on Earth might sound like whispers on Mars. Learn more in @NASA’s Curious Universe podcast: https://t.co/CPNpuPXCDt https://t.co/3k7QwPrToh

🌌 Twilight from the misty skies Have you ever ventured to Moscow? The city lights of Moscow and its suburbs seemingly branch out towards an aurora in this stunning photograph taken from the International Space Station (ISS) as it orbited 263 miles above the Volga River in Russia. The Volga river is considered the longest river in Europe flowing through Central Russia to Southern Russia and into the Caspian Sea. 🌊 Fun fact: The Volga freezes for most of its length for three months each year and some of the biggest reservoirs in the world can be found along the river. I'm having a hard time finding the exact answer for this question. The Night Sky in a Medieval Era with no air or light pollution.
If someone could give me an image to get a good idea of what someone would see if they step outside during a night with a torch in hand. The rest of the land pitch dark and lit up only by the moonlight. They look up and... What do they see? Obviously not the sky we see nowadays. This is for a tabletop game so I apologize if it's not exactly on topic and I'm not certain if it's better to ask in r/history but I want to show my players an image to make them really feel that they are in a different era.
