I want to start my own construction business
I really want to start my own construction business and I'm trying to learn how to do it but there is a lot of information and I don't know how to go about it. I'm only 16 but I do want to have a full time construction business that is my main source of income by the time I'm 30. I don't want to specialize exactly I just want to do general construction but how do I get knowledge about all the essential trades so I can manage employees in a specific trade and understand how the job is done. If there is anyone who owns their own construction business please comment on how you did it.

Tax avoidance (not tax evasion)
How do you grow an account without just buying and holding long term without getting eaten up by capital gains tax every year? Growing a small account into a large account is going to require alot of short term trading, how do I avoid paying 20%+ every year in capital gains tax? I'm not looking to commit tax fraud, I'm trying to figure out how to retire at 55 when I'm 37 and just started investing this year. If I'm calculating correctly on my projection spreadsheet, taxes will add 3-4 years to my time horizon for 1M.

A better social media app?
What's your opinion on social media? I think they are very useful, but they lack one thing, and that is to connect people so they can meet in real life based on their personalities, interest and circumstances. Example: Facebook knows I like football. Therefore it displays a football advert for the premier league. What it doesn't do is to ask people, in the same area as me, if we would like to play and organize a football match so we can make new friendships. All these platforms are supposed to connect us all, but instead, they are keeping us apart because it's not in their interests. All these platforms have users which create content we engage in. What I would like to see is them to suggest and organise activities so people can meet in real life based on the content they engage in the platform. I’m sure in some kind of way you can set up a business model for it. I hope it makes sense. Let me know what you think.

QQQ vs owning something like AAPL, AMZN, GOOG, and MFST
I'm just wondering if you would rather have an ETF like QQQ or a smaller combination of their top stocks in their portfolio? I'm thinking about saving the expense fees and just owning a few of my favorites from their holdings. If I had to choose, it would probably be MSFT, and AAPL for sure and potentially GOOG. If you agree, what stocks would you choose instead of QQQ? I'm also considering doing the same for semiconductors and owning QCOM, and TSM instead of SOXX. Anymore you like in this sector?

can a flashy exotic car with company logos plastered on the car be expensed as a business vehicle for marketing purpose?
my business strategy and marketing is unlike any other; its also pure genius one thing ive noticed is teslas running around with company logos on its side as marketing, it is extremely eye catching ive noticed this is a great marketing idea what i plan: exotic with company name plastered all over the car will it qualifies as a business expense.? you can claim it as business related because everytime you drive, you are marketing your business. the claim: "this car is a business asset. we are driving it for marketing purposes becuae of the plastered ads on the car. the more we drive, the more we market"

Need help with Business Email
I'm helping my mom to set up some things for her freelance business, where she coaches teachers. (It's registered as an official business already, but she doesn't have any online things in place) Today my mom decided to finally buy a domain name, but we have little problem. I realized that you must have an email when you sign up (and in general of course). So I started thinking, and got stuck. My mom doesn't expect to earn much from here online presence, so paying for something like office 365 and get a professional email from there is out of the question. So, you have the big one's: gmail and outlook. Both google and microsoft offer premium subscriptions, which are already too pricy for our needs. The question here is: is there a solution (preferably completely free, or otherwise extremely cheap), where you can work with word documents, maybe have cloud storage, maybe a professional email, and it also being secure?

"One city’s middle class is another’s affluent class," writes bloombergopinion's Pete Saunders. 📍In the New York metro area, 42.9% of all households earn more than $100,000 a year, with nearly one in six (16.1%) earning more than $200,000 a year. 📍In the Washington, D.C. metro area, more than half (53%) of all households earn more than $100,000 a year, while 20.3% earn at least $200,000 annually. 📍In Indianapolis, less than 30% of households make more than $100,000 a year and only 7.2% make more than $200,000 a year, putting the city slightly behind the national average. The same goes for St. Louis, which comes in at 31.1% and 7.5%, respectively. "Median income is what matters to a household struggling to make ends meet in an expensive city, not raw salary data," Saunders writes. Tap the link in our bio to read his column in full.

Engineering Service - Marketing Question
Hello all, We are a engineering firm that provides services and consulting directed to other entrepreneurs, start-ups, and mid-size companies, specifically in the medical device area. For similar service providing companies (preferably medical device advice), what have been successful methods of marketing and reaching out to potential clients? Cold emailing has not yielded much.

Opening a small tea business
Hi everyone, I am considering opening a small tea business where I will sell homemade herbal tea mixes online and to family and friends. I live in Canada, and am just wondering if anyone knows where I can go to learn more about health labels I may or may not need to include. For example, do I need to include a "do not drink if pregnant" or other similar health warnings on my products? If so, which body of the Canadian government should I contact directly about learning more? Thank you for taking the time to read this reddit!
