My company processes about $750k in credit card payments per month. Our total credit card fees are about 3.5% which feels really high. Is there a place I can submit my last two month's statements and have people bid for our business?
The title says it all. We haven't shopped our credit card rates in about 20 years and I'm pretty sure we're being raked over the coals.

Process for getting a painting license in Florida?
Am I understanding correctly that there’s no painters license that instead I need to get a GC license? Any Florida painters here who can help point me in the right direction.

Is it worth advertising on a company van that does daily deliveries?
My father runs a small family business that has been around more than 50 years. He sells cleaning products. He has never paid a single dollar for advertising or marketing, but he’s been seeing profits decrease. He’s wondering if he puts the company name on his van (used for deliveries every day) along with listing some products he sells and a phone number could be beneficial? Now it’s just a standard white Chevy van Thanks for your input

How do you politely ask a tenant to leave
I’m looking into purchasing a new business property, and it has 3 tenants (two businesses, and one basement suite) who are on verbal contract. One of these tenants has been in this building as far as I can remember. In order to build my dream business I would need them to get a different location. I don’t want to harm my reputation as a new business owner, and I’m looking for advice on how to do this as politely and damage-free (for both parties) as possible.

Confused by what licenses I need (Los Angeles, CA)
Sorry if I am posting in the wrong subreddit but I'm so confused by what licenses I need to start my online store. I'm planning on selling sports gear online through Shopify. I've already ordered samples for the product I'm planning on selling. I wanted to make sure that I have the correct licenses and paperwork prior to launching. Does anyone know what kinds of licences I need specific to selling out of Los Angeles, CA? I'm seeing so many conflicting suggestions online that range from I don't need anything to I need an LLC, local business license, state license, and others. Thanks in advance.

Forwarding the CC Processing Charge to Customers
Most of my invoices are in the hundreds, some in the thousands and about 90% of my customers use Credit or Debit cards for those sub 1000$ invoices. Freshbooks charges a range up to around 4.5% for CC transactions, and I’ve been adding 4% processing fee for CC, eating the half percent most of the time. As a small business, these fees add up, am I wrong to be implementing this into invoices? No complaints so far. I own a photography / marketing company that specializes in Real Estate media as of recent

Shipping
Does anybody have experience shipping over size items. My product I’m trying to ship is 43” by 3” by 3”. The max length is 38” before it becomes oversized and almost doubles the shipping cost leaving almost no profit for myself. Any info or advice would be helpful.
