Manager no longer needed
I’ve owned a small cafe for the last 10 years. I decided it was time to hire a manager when I had a baby but that was now two years ago. My manager is currently a college student with at least three more years to go. I’m ready to return to work full time but that would mean I have no need for a manager. Paying them has obviously reduced my own income as a small business owner and I don’t see the need to continue paying them as a manager when I would be handling everything again. I could have gone back to work a long time ago but I felt bad taking that job away from them because I was truly grateful for all that they have done. Looking for advice on how to handle this.

Mobile shaved ice business, how to manage cash without employees stealing.
I run a completely mobile shaved ice business in my town. I am growing my business and started running two locations so I can do two different events each Saturday. I hired my sister's boyfriend because I really needed help. It's more of a 2 person job because I'm doing lemonade, drinks, and cotton candy too. A $50 bill went missing from the cash box that day so now I'm scared to hire anyone. It's too easy to steal cash. I wanted to hire employees and have them run one tent completely while I run another. I work out of a tent and don't use electricity. I use a battery to power my ice shaver and I use the Square terminal to take card payments. I'm thinking about doing card only but more than half the people pay with cash at events. Parents give their kids cash only to pay with a lot of times.

Best Business Bank Account
I’m starting a business to sell products on Amazon. I have my LLC registered and got my EIN yesterday. Which bank is the best business bank account to open? I saw a few articles with examples of accounts that offer no monthly fees or minimum deposits. Just hoping any business owners could recommend or speak first hand about the bank they use and which would be a good bank to open with that doesn’t have monthly fees or a minimum deposit. Appreciate any help/advice you can give.

Have you found any real use for ChatGPT in your business?
I think we all agree that ChatGPT, LLMs and AI are all great tools. I'm curious to hear if other business owners have found any practical applications them in their day to day? When they first came out, I was using ChatGPT to produce a lot of written content (think emails, website text, etc), but the novelty has worn off and I find the text it produces to be generic. What are some success stories out there?

How did you come up with your business?
I am aware of the standard "I identified a problem that needed to be solved and found a way to provide that service/good." I am more interested in knowing the circumstances that led to you discovering this niche productor service. Tell me your story. Were you at wits end and discovered something? Did you improve on an existing idea? I want to start a business. My upbringing was go to school; get good grades; get a job. I did all that and earn a decent income. I want more freedom. I want to generate generational wealth. Unfortunate, I cannot approach strangers and ask such probing questions. Friends (using the term loosely here) also tend to be mum when asked -- I get it though.

How exactly do I "start a business"? (Construction)
Specifically a construction company. I already have all the tools/equipment, work vans etc. I wouldn't be doing the work, it would be my husband with experience - not sure if it's best to make him partner or contract/hire him. Would like help understanding the process, why and how things work. Wtf the difference is between LLC, Inc., and Corp. - that stuff. I have no education regarding business

Question for those who’ve used Yelp Advertising
I’m a relatively new Chiropractor to my town. I’ve previously used Yelp Ads before, but I didn’t feel like I received enough business to justify the cost, because ads were getting clicked on, but the leads didn’t take action. I received another call from a new Yelp representative, and now they have told me that you don’t pay unless the lead takes action, which is more appealing. Have any other business owners found success with Yelp ads, or done anything they have felt helped them increase their chances with ads?

With a summer travel season set to break records, companies are rethinking strict return-to-office rules. One solution that’s cropped up: Hybrid work schedules, but with a set amount of time allotted — usually two to four weeks — for employees to enjoy the fully remote life. So-called “work from anywhere” weeks are still relatively uncommon, according to Rob Sadow, CEO of Scoop Technologies, a firm that tracks remote work policies at over 4,000 companies. But recently, a handful of big-name companies have so far adopted the policy. Tap the link in bio to learn which ones. 📷: Eva Marie Uzcategui/Bloomberg

By the way I'm 19 so I don't really know anything about taxes. Hello, I just started a digital art gallery and planning on selling my artists pieces soon on Artsy or a similar platform and I don't know where to start. Do I need to open a bank account as a llc? Do I even need to file taxes right now and how do I set that up? my artist plans to ship internationally, does that change the tax situation? I could really use all the help I need lol, thank you!
