[COMP] Crane Pose?

Hi! I practice Crow pose for weeks/months now and today finally came to kinda succeed with Crane pose. Im happy to have come so far but I am not sure if this already is a Crane. I know my core probably should be more engaged/stronger to lift my behind up a bit so my legs get more horizontal and feet should point more backwards. So does this already count as Crane Pose? I will keep working on doing the "perfect Crane" soon :) Any advice for improvement is appreciated! PS: Nevermind the music, I just like to edit my recordings a bit to share it with friends and to motivate myself :)

Torn Rotator Cuff

My yoga studio uses blue lights

I find this really strange because we’re always told to avoid blue light. Does anyone know of anything that says it’s good during yoga?

Just wanted to say thank you to those who visited my wife’s yoga clothing review blog site last night before it got removed. I didn’t realised the rules here so apologies. She said seeing these visits in the analytics and even had a subscriber sign up was the motivation she needed to keep going. I won’t be posting her site here to adhere to the rules. Struggling to control breath

Hey guys so this morning I ran through some sun salutations and moon salutations. I really struggled to control my breathe, now I’m quite fit but trying to focus on different cues for different posture really affected my breathing and put me out of breathe is this normal?

Poses like Marichyasana

Hey all, I'm an absolute newbie. Today I discovered the pose Marichyasana and it did something to my lower back no other exercise has ever done. I've seen lots of routines but this pose in particular I've never seen before. Can you recommend any poses, routines, Yogis that go well with Marichyasana and help me get that spot? How to develop enough strength to do Chaturanga?

I have difficulty doing Chaturanga (even with knees down) as I have weak arms. How to develop enough strength to do a chaturanga? I am new to yoga. Thank You! Peace and Love.

Having a hard time

I began yoga recently, and I really love it. I have found that it helps give me momentary relief from my health issues, but I have hit a bit of a road block. For background: I did dance for about 7 years and I have horrible hips from it. My hips are so bad that it hurts to walk and I have an autoimmune disease, so sometimes yoga can really be an issue for me, while simultaneously being my relief. Now onto the issue: When I am on the mat, I become so discouraged. I feel ashamed because basic poses can feel like too much despite my background in somewhat similar movements. My muscles are often extremely weak (a symptom of my health issues), so it's difficult. Any advice on how to not feel as discouraged/defeated? I want yoga to make me feel free rather than making me cry and feel like a loser lol
