If someone stood on Mars and saw Earth in the sky with a telescope, would the perceived color change based on the refraction of light through Earth’s atmosphere?

I don’t think we see this with other planets because their atmospheres are more dense, but I’m curious if it does happen with earth, like a sunset. I do know there are rare circumstances on earth where you can get a green sunsets. The earth also casts a red glow on the moon in some instances as well. I could see earth being mostly blue/green/white because of what the surface is like and cloud coverage, but I’m curious if it would give an oil-like rainbow effect under the right circumstances.

What is this? It's not a rainbow because it's near the moon and opposite of where rainbows form?

Career Advice from NASA Engineers

Hello! I was hoping to hear from some NASA engineers and gain some advice. I know everyone wants to work for NASA so it’s tough. I’ve been applying to KSC for years now (I’m local) and almost always referred (even before direct hire was a thing) but I’ve never had an interview. I’m a contractor for a different agency and starting to wonder if I should look into applying to contractor positions in addition to USAJobs. Does anyone have any advice that helped them become a NASA engineer?

I need help with telescopes

I’m new in the world of astronomy and I see many of you are posting your own images taken. I want to learn more about imaging and coordinating and what gear to buy for the best image possible of galaxies. How do i get started with this and how much would it cost roughly to get the best gear possible. Thanks

What's the best way to connect with NASA about an experiment we're hosting in orbit?

We're sending a micro satellite into orbit that will transmit morse code back to earth. We are going to give out prizes to school clubs that can find the satellite and decode the message. We'd love to connect with a few people from NASA to speak to students etc.. What's the best way to go about this?
