AFTERTHOUGHT - 50ml/scant 1.75oz Dry Gin - 15ml/0.5oz Maraschino Liqueur - 15ml/0.5oz Simple Syrup - 25ml/fat 0.75oz Lemon Juice - 3 big boy dashes Angostura Bitters - - - - - HOW: Shake all with ice / Fine strain in coupe / Garnish with a sprig of Thyme. - - - - - A Maraschino-fueled Gin Sour with a hefty amount of Angostura Bitters to work the bitter-sweet balance. This is a super-easy serve I really enjoy at any time of the evening. You could optionally make it with a Thyme syrup in stead of a regular Simple, but sometimes the extra effort is just not really what you're looking for (Admittedly, the Mediterranean vibes really make it pop tho).
