Best way to go about proving my income?
I have a small business where most of my customers pay me on cash app, Venmo, or just cash payment. I am in a situation where I need to have proof of income. I am told I am unable to show the transactions themselves and I need to have it in my taxes. I think I heard that a 1099 is the best solution? I’m so sorry, but I’ve never really done the stuff. My question is, what’s the best way to go about this where I can have my income claimed and use it as proof? Is it necessary to file an LLC or corporation? Can I just get a 1099 and claim all this stuff as my income? Someone please help me

You get called by a company. Would you prefer a follow up email right after that? -Even if you expressed disinterest? (Keep in mind it's possible you didn't quite understand the presentation completely over the phone..)
Just wanting to figure out how best to serve clients.

Looking to startup a painting business for my area. Should I focus on a specific niche such as cabinet and deck staining/painting? It's s bit easier since I'll be the only one starting out or do I go ahead and offer interior ans exterior paint services as well? Any pointers from others running they're own painting business is much appreciated.

Filing for an LLC in Florida
Hello I am starting to file for an LLC in Florida. I have spoken to my lawyer about this and since it's a quick process he advised me to do it myself since he said its a quick process and he doesn't want to take my money for it, but he's happy to answer any questions. I feel bad asking him so many questions since I'm not paying him; and I already asked him this question, but still a little confused. It will be multi managed by me and one other person and we will both own it. Would I list us both under the title of AMBR and that is all? Also would I also need to list titles such as CEO CFO and COO or no?

QuickBooks and W4 changes.
Hello! I'm employed by a small business who uses QuickBooks for our payroll. Since I have been employed there (dec 2022) not a dime has been withheld for federal taxes. I filled out my w4 the same as I always have and have always had federal withheld prior to this job. When I view my check, it says I need to contact my employer to make changes to my w4. However, even on my employers end, there is nothing to edit. They have pulled it up in front of me and we tried figuring it out together. I have a strong feeling that this wasn't a user error on my part as 5 other employees are having the same exact issue. Does anyone here have any insight to QuickBooks and how to ACTUALLY make changes to w4's? Every time I've tried calling intuit/QuickBooks, I get talked into circles. TIA!

I would like to start a web design business
Hello, I hope everyone is well. I have been working at a "high level of expertise" web dev agency for about ten years. I have considered leaving and starting my own as work conditions aren't the best. My only problem is that I signed an NDA on all of my creative rights to my work. I can't even count how many thousands of websites I have created, redesigned, and worked on. I cannot add any of those to my portfolio, so I feel I am starting from scratch. I am just discouraged. Has anyone experienced something similar? If not, what would you do? Perhaps I should help those needing a website willing to be in my portfolio. Any advice will help. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and I hope you achieve all your goals and aspirations in life :)

Need help growing business! Please give advice.
We offer remote subscription-based IT services and are based in Canada. Our overhead is relatively low. Our customers are happy, but we're not getting a lot of referrals from it. We've tried posting on social media. The only thing that worked for us was cold-calling, but it was very slow, and nowadays most people don't want to hear your pitch over the phone. We have a limited marketing budget, which from our research makes purchasing online ads frivolous. How did you market your business?

$1-5M+ rev small businesses that can use a software hand?
I help businesses build and maintain software. Most of my clients have been venture-backed startups or non-tech businesses (eg manufacturing, marketing agencies etc). I'm now trying to dig deeper into the "non-tech businesses" niche and identify industries or business types that typically don't have a tech team but could benefit from having a strong on-demand technical/software partner -- whether it's to build internal apps, solve data problems, or build customer facing portals. Do you all have any pointers or inputs on what businesses/industries could use this kind of help? Ideally the business is of a certain size and sufficient revenue to even have these problems. Where do I look for them?

Problems, struggles, challenges
I’m a newly minted jewelry wholesaler, and going through ups and downs (more of the latter) in my journey. As I build the business, would love your insights on the problems you have faced, particularly related to money and finances. The reason I ask is because I don’t want to face them last-minute and with the foresight can try to avoid them in the future. Appreciate it!

I had a contract worker who was working in a consulting role which had to be terminated after 3 days due to unreconcilable differences. My question is in calculating what I owe to him. Do i take his pay and divide it by the number of days in a month to calculate his daily rate? OR Do i take his pay and divide it by the number of WORK days in a month to calculate his daily rate? (he was only expected to be available M-F)

Restaurant Window Storefront Print Options
Hello small businesses. I have a dilemma and was hoping to hear from those who have retail restaurants and even the opinion of those who don't. I have a small restaurant and I'd like to put something in the storefront windows to attract visitors passing by. I want them to have an idea what they could buy to eat inside. [Option 1 is a full picture of the different types of foods.](https://www.3sixtysignsolutions.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/187-window-graphic-adria-pizza.jpg) [Option 1.2 in case above doesn't work](https://wheelhousegraphix.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/IMG_5744.jpg) [Option 2 is a subtle description and image of the type of foods.](https://www.designbrandprint.com/media/window-vinyl_-cut-vinyl_-restaurant.jpg) Imagine price is not important. The only thing that is important is to attract the most visitors. Which do you think makes most sense? What has worked for you?

Need help/advice
Need Advice Hello everyone, I would like to request your help/advice on opening a dental tourism startup in my native country . I have a bacground in tourism industry, but mainly for outbound. My friend is a dentist, and he has a high class dental care. Furthermore, we have preety much figured the whole infrastructure, from hotel stays and transportation and some nice guide around the city, with options to visit other cities. The problem is basically, I dont know where to start. I have a very basic experience in marketing, but I would like to follow another approach. Working as a travel agent, they cooperate a lot in terms of inventory and systems that they use with each other, making it easier to connect to a broader audience. However, the same cannot be said about medical tourism and dental more specifically. I would appreciate a lot if someone could give any tip/info and where to look at to bring people. Thank you in advance.
