What is some crypto tech/company that you are disappointed how it turned out?

For me it is unstoppable domains. Like I know a lot of people will point to hardware wallets or whatever. And while that is a shock even today. I'm more disappointed in unstoppable domains because web 3 really have some valid points to it over what we have now. And I think it could've and still can make the internet better. The problem is, unstoppable domains (where you can buy a web 3 domain), they went from pushing for web 3 to pushing it as an investment. They are pushing for making a quick dollar vs functional gain What is your biggest disappointment in crypto tech?

Arbritrum suddenly halted. Why? Because the sequencer ran out of gas.

What would you do if your crypto investments really made you rich?

So, let's say you did it. You found the right coin at the perfect moment, invested your money in it, it skyrocketed - and you didn't even miss the right time to save all of your gains. Congratulations! You are now sittung on, say, 10 million dollars, in your name, legally obtained. How would you change your life style? Would you immediatly reinvest all of ot to get even more rich? Would you give a nice goodbye to your boss and finally go on that cruise? Or wouldn't you change anything for now, but have the warm feeling that you don't have to worry about retirement? Or would you start a company? Do voluntary work? What would you do?

How do you create your own hardware wallet and store your private keys instead of purchasing one?

Seeing all the issues with ledger and trezor lately, it's sparking me to want to make my own hardware wallet rather than purchase one from a company. I assume this is possible seeing as this is what was done in the beginning, but how exactly can you do this? Is there a guide for this somewhere that is reputable? I just want to hold my BTC and not have to worry about any company possibly updating their way to my passphrase.

It's ironic that we earn moons posting about the importance of decentralization.

As you may know, Arbitrum was halted for an hour because the sequencer (Arbitrum's central piece of software that bundles transactions) [ran out of gas](https://www.dlnews.com/articles/defi/arbitrum-came-to-a-halt-as-its-sequencer-ran-out-of-gas/). It's kind of a joke that a centralized L2 like Arbitrum is handling our moons while we talk about decentralization. We might as well just pay a CEX to distribute moons because that would be more convenient. It seems that Vitalik Buterin's claim about the crypto trilemma (decentralization <-> scalability <-> security) is true. Our Avatars are on Polygon and I think we know that it's no better. In the future (or even right now) it's a security risk to have Moons on Arbitrum and - as I said - it's also quite ironic. What do you think could be a solution? Are there alternatives and will we be able to switch?

Did your fav crypto have an ICO/IEO/Private sale etc? It is a security!

Did your fav coin had a private sale/ICO/IEO etc? It is a security, Atleast according to SEC Which is why Binance.us is delisting almost all coins that had a private sale or distribution that involved buying the coins from the founders. Here is the full list https://support.binance.us/hc/en-us/articles/15133607064983-Binance-US-Will-Remove-Select-Trading-Pairs-Has-Paused-OTC-Trading Afaik, only Bitcoin, its early mining clones and Nano (free captcha distribution) are not securities by this definition. What do you guys think?

Arbitrum. How centralized is it? Well, the team forgot to top up the wallet that paid gas fees.

Have you ever imagined a world without banks?🏦

A world without banks and relying solely on cryptocurrencies would have some great advantages. 1. Financial Inclusion: Cryptocurrencies could potentially provide financial services to the unbanked population worldwide. 2. Decentralization: Without centralized banks, financial power would be distributed among cryptocurrency users. This decentralization could prevent monopolies and increase transparency and fairness in financial transactions. 3. Reduced Fees and Faster Transactions: Cryptocurrencies could offer lower transaction fees and faster cross-border transfers compared to traditional banking systems. 4. Security and Privacy: Blockchain technology underlying cryptocurrencies provides enhanced security measures and privacy features. Users would have control over their personal information and transactions, reducing the risk of fraud and identity theft.
