Dhanurasana and the mound of Venus
Lovely ladies - I just finished my sequence when again the bow really hurts my mound of Venus. I’m actually always very happy to have such a feminine shape but this asana is painful yet so beautiful. Any tricks or adjustments on this one? 🌞

Ankle pain in child’s pose
I have ankle pain when I do child’s pose from what I believe is tightness and lack of mobility. What can I do to fix this issue? Power through the discomfort as if it were a stretch?

Any tips for how to wear my hair at hot yoga?
Hello! Does anybody have any go-to hairstyles they wear for hot yoga? I have long hair, and I got to hot yoga several times a week. I've noticed that my hair has been breaking though, and it's a little annoying. Any tips are welcome!

Have you practiced with Kino Macgregor? What was it like?
She is doing some workshops that I could potentially attend and want to figure out if the cost is worth it! Please let me know if you have practiced with her and what you thought of her teaching. Thank you!

Yoga and Anxiety
So I love yoga, especially hot yoga. But with that being said I’m starting to wonder if there’s a link between consistent hot yoga practice and an increase of anxiety/ fast heart rate. The anxiety could be circumstantial to what is happening in my personal life but in April I did a 2 week trial at a Hoya yoga studio and noticed those two weeks my anxiety was at an all time high. Bordering panic. Now the last two weeks I’m practicing hot yoga close to daily again and the same feeling has come back into my chest. During the class I feel fine and it helps me in the moment but the calm never lasts. Yoga is supposed to lower anxiety, not increase it. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on?

Best Book for Asanas
I’m a new yoga teacher. The Asanas were the only part that wasn’t covered in detail during my Ashtanga YTT. The other 7 limbs I’ve studied in detail. Which book would you recommend that covers asanas only and in detail? I’m looking for health benefits, how to help students with alignment, how to modify the asana to make it easier in general or safe for pregnancy and also how to help intensify a stretch during asana for advanced yogis. Any other resource is fine also! I just want to feel comfortable teaching, as asanas are a big part of the practice.

"Travelling" During Savasana
Hey everyone! I am fairly new to yoga but have found a hot yoga studio in my town that I absolutely love. I have noticed during the last couple of classes I can't get my mind to quiet during savasana. While it wasn't completely unwelcome, I had a strange dream/thought/vision yesterday of getting to love on my 20 year old dog who passed away in some sort of heavenly realm, and it was so vivid it almost made me tear up before we came back to "real life". Does anyone else get visits from beings they have cared for? I also seem to think about the future with my partner as well a lot. It's a weird experience for sure! Almost like lucid dreaming :)
