Starting my own Physical Therapy Clinic and need help setting up a POS system
As the title states, I'm opening up my Physical Therapy (PT) clinic, and need help setting up a way to accept credit card payments. I'm a little lost on which is the best system or how I should go about this. I have researched square, PayPal, and others, but I'm not sure if there is a better way. I'm hesitant to go with Square as it feels to modern for a clinic, nevertheless I would appreciate any opinions. Those who have worked or owned a clinic, what did you use for your POS System? How did you get it?

[Tennessee] Freelance videographer in Hamilton County looking to use acquire two DBAs as a sole proprietorship. Do I need a business license?
I know that the stock answer is “ask an accountant.” I’m finally searching for one, but this is just a general question that I’d like to know the answer to from others in the same position. If you are in photo/video from this area, I’d love to get your recommendation. A few things of note: - I don’t really do much business here as I mostly travel - I just want two DBAs for specific branding that differentiates between the two services I offer - I do not have a storefront, brick and mortar, office, studio, or anything whatsoever — all work from home Thanks!

Crisis Plans for Small Businesses?
Do SMB’s need a plan to help them respond to a crisis? Big companies have them to protect shareholder valuation, but seems like SMB owners have MORE to lose personally when something goes horribly wrong. If so, what’s a reasonable price for a plan that helps preserve an SMB’s ability to operate?

Are there risks providing a Limited Occupational Letter for my business to a non employee?
I have a family friend that drinks a lot and sometimes smokes illegal stuff. He must have lost his license because he's asking me to write a letter saying he works for me from 8 to 6 so he can apply for a limited occupational license. He has done work for me in the past but he isn't my emoyee nor a contactor. I don't want him getting in trouble and it coming back to me that's all. Worst case scenario he gets pulled over during "working hours" and they basically think he's working for me. Are there any cons or risks to writing him this letter so he can get a limited license? I'm hesitate but he's a family freind so I just want to know if it can come back and bite me in the ass.
