I’m having trouble squatting because I am not flexible enough.
I'm not sure what happened. I was always a stellar athlete all throughout my life. I just got back into working out after taking 4 years off and I literally can't even bend to squat I'm that stiff. If anybody has any recommendations for stretches or yoga stuff to help make me more flexible it would be greatly appreciated.

Is there such a thing as couples yoga?
My GF has been recommended to do yoga due to back pains. She has asked if I can show her a few poses and to join on a yoga walkthrough. I haven't done yoga for a few months so I will be very rusty, could use this opportunity to get back into it as I got very lazy lately. Then I had the thought, yoga is typically a solo exorcise, and I wondered if there was such a thing as couples yoga where you assist/support eachother (we're like teddy bears when it comes to our personal space ❤️). Not just do the same poses side by side. Is there such a thing? Genuinely curious.

Hamstring injury confusion
I'm pretty sure I have some form of a hamstring injury that may have come from overstretching. I can feel it at the top of my hamstring, but it's not as high as the base of my glute. It's been almost a year, but I haven't really done anything about it yet because I've been listening to my ego too much. It doesn't hurt when I'm stretching it, which is why I keep going in my practice, but is very uncomfortable afterwards. The strange thing is, when I try and be sensible by modifying poses such as forward folds, it hurts much more ie bending my knees is by far worse than straightening them. Any advice on what I should do / how to modify? I'm doing my 200h YTT in October and want my hamstrings to be as healthy as possible by then!

The 8 limbs of Yoga
I’m curious about how many people here know about/ practice the 8 limbs of yoga. It seems like here in the west it isn’t common knowledge that what we know as yoga is only one small part of what yoga actually is. In most yoga studios it’s all about asana. I’ve never seen a class for learning about and discussing yogic texts and philosophy. I’m curious about other peoples’ thoughts on this and what your practice is like. Also, no judgement here! Recently started yoga, not sure I’m getting much from it.
So I started yoga just over a month ago, 2-3 mornings per week I do Yoga with Adrienne on YouTube. I started it really as something to do on the rest days between my running. I feel I need to do some form of exercise every day and yoga seemed perfect. Problem is I’m not sure I’m getting anything out of it, I’m not sure if I’m supposed to be getting anything out of it, I’m not really sure what the goal is? Running for example, always get a runners high when it’s done, the goal is to push myself a little further each time I run, as I say with yoga I’m not sure really.
