What are some good habits to develop to run your buisness, and be successful.

I'm a first time buisness owner. I do comercial cleaning, and residential cleaning, and I'm struggling with keeping up with my personal life, and my buisness dealings. What are some habits I should get into to keep on top of everything? I'm not bringing in enough revenue to hire a manger yet but I'm probably able to in 6 months to a year.

Lease negotiation - What to offer?

My wife is looking to rent a space out and there is a space in the area that's about 1900 SQFT around $1900 a month. It has been on the market for 2 months, and the building is owned privately with 5 stores in total, with 3 being rented by one tenant about to move out. Since the original has been on the market for a little while and all the other stores are about to be on the market, it seems we will have an opportunity to negotiate. What would be a good price to start with? Would asking for 20% off be too much?

When buying property for new business do you take loan for down payment or full price of the property?

Title pretty much explains it. If I find a property to buy, for starting my small business, would I just add the entire price of the property to my business loan, or would the best option be to just ask for the down payment + taxes of the property? ​ I'm researching how to open a gym of my own, so advice from anyone on that topic would be appreciated. That's what this property would be for as well - a new gym!

Starting an invitation business?

Toying with the idea of starting a custom invitation business. I made my son’s first birthday invitation and I loved it. Hoping someone can provide some insight before I dive in. 1. I used Canva to create the invitation. I have the free version. Can I use the free graphics on products I’ll be selling? Would I need to upgrade my Canva membership? 2. Do I play around for a little before making it official and getting a business license, etc? 3. What’s the best way to determine pricing?

where to meet actual action takers?

Hello everyone. My business is taking off and I find myself taking my distance from my old friends as they prefer to party/gossip/etc (which is fine) BUT I also find it extremely hard to meet "success oriented" people in general. I used to make friends by attending activities, going to meet-up groups. It's just that now, I find it extremely difficult to meet like minded people. Even in "business group chats" the majority of the people seem to focus on being lazy, not trying hard, aiming low, not taking risks, etc. I don't think I am special and I'm sure there are people who are far more successful than I am, but where can I meet like minded individuals? For ex, I have some old co-workers who are very successful and moved to Dubai, they tell me they meet great people there all the time. Do I really have to move to Dubai to meet business minded peeps? Geez.
